Romeo & Juliet
Romeo & Juliet
Bonded Pair | Fostered in Kenosha, WIRomeo and Juliet are a true love story — and in this case, they really are meant to stay together.
These two adorable hound mixes are about 7 months old and have grown up side by side. Their bond is incredibly special and very obvious to anyone who meets them. Where one goes, the other follows. They play together, nap together, and bring out the very best in each other.
Romeo is the charming, affectionate half of the pair and has already been neutered. He loves greeting his people with enthusiasm, tail wags, and plenty of affection. Juliet is the sweet and snuggly counterpart — calm, loving, and always happy to curl up close after a good play session. Together they create the perfect balance of playful energy and cozy companionship.
Both dogs have been thriving in their foster home and have already learned many of the basics that make them wonderful companions. They are potty trained, kennel trained, and leash trained, and they have been very well socialized. Romeo and Juliet do great with other dogs, kids, and cats, making them a wonderful addition to many different types of homes.
Their personalities are joyful and loving. They enjoy playing with toys, exploring the yard together, and curling up for naps side by side after a fun day of adventures. Watching their bond and the way they interact with each other is truly something special.
Because of their strong bond, Romeo and Juliet are looking for a home where they can remain together.
Adoption Information
Adoption Fee: $450 per dog
Juliet has not been spayed yet. If she is adopted before her spay appointment, an additional $75 spay deposit will be required at the time of adoption. This deposit will be fully reimbursed once her spay has been completed.
A Note About Littermate Syndrome
Littermate syndrome is a behavioral challenge that can sometimes occur when two puppies grow up together and become overly dependent on one another. Because of this, many rescues choose to separate littermates before adoption.
In Romeo and Juliet’s case, we carefully evaluated what would be best for them as individuals. These two share an exceptionally strong bond and struggled significantly when separated during our evaluations. At this stage in their development, we believe remaining together is the healthiest and most stable path for them.
With continued structure, training, and individual attention, bonded pairs can grow into confident, well-adjusted adult dogs while still maintaining their special relationship.

Amy
AMY – Bring Me To Life… Or Better Yet, Bring Me Home 🎶🐾
📍 Fostered in Kenosha, WI
🐶 15 Weeks Old | Female | Pittie MixThere’s something about Amy… something you can’t quite explain, but you feel it the moment you meet her 🖤
She has a quiet kind of presence—the kind that draws you in and stays with you. Amy doesn’t demand attention, but somehow she becomes the center of your world anyway. She has that soulful, expressive way about her that makes you feel like she’s been waiting just for you.
Amy is full of life and loves to be part of everything you’re doing. She has a playful, curious spirit and a medium-high energy level that makes her the perfect companion for an active home. Whether she’s chasing after her favorite tennis ball (her absolute obsession 🎾), carrying around a squeaky toy, or proudly showing off a stick she found outside, she approaches every moment with enthusiasm and joy.
But what makes Amy truly special is how quickly she transitions from playful to deeply affectionate. After a good round of play, she’s happiest curled up next to you, leaning in for comfort and connection. Amy doesn’t just want to live in your home—she wants to be your baby. She wants to be loved, included, and right by your side through it all.
Amy is incredibly well-rounded for her age. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, kids, and cats, making her an easy addition to a variety of households. She is kennel trained, potty trained, and walks nicely on a leash. She is also already excelling with basic commands and shows a strong willingness to learn and please.
Amy would thrive in a home that offers both activity and affection—a place where she can play, explore, and be social, while also having the comfort of a loving environment to relax and bond with her people. She is the perfect blend of playful energy and loyal companionship.
If you’re looking for a dog who will grow with you, love you deeply, and become a constant presence in your life, Amy may be exactly who you’ve been waiting for 🖤

Lucy
Lucy 💛
9 Week Old Female Mixed Breed Puppy
📍 Fostered in Kenosha, WILucy is one of those puppies who quietly steals your heart before you even realize it.
This sweet little girl is still learning that the world is a safe place, so she takes a little extra time warming up to new people and situations. Lucy prefers to move at her own pace and build trust on her terms. If she feels overwhelmed, she may become a little timid or reserved at first, but once she feels safe and comfortable, her loving personality truly shines.
Watching her confidence grow has been such a rewarding part of her journey.
As far as breed goes, we can’t say for certain, but we definitely suspect there’s some pittie mixed in there along with a few other mystery ingredients. Whatever the mix may be, Lucy is absolutely adorable.
Lucy is wonderfully socialized and does great with other dogs, cats, and kids. She also does very well in her kennel when needed and is currently working hard on all the puppy basics in her foster home, including potty training, leash training, and learning routines.
Right now Lucy has a medium energy level, though we expect that playful side to continue growing right along with her confidence. She enjoys toys, puppy playtime, and being included once she feels comfortable.
Lucy is the kind of puppy who reminds you that trust is earned — but once you have it, it means everything.
